What Tooling is right for your project?
Prototype tooling can be accomplished with a number of mediums including, wood, renwood, epoxy, and ceramic.
Material selection plays a crucial role in what prototype tool is best to use. Our recommendations are done with the customer’s best intent in mind to deliver an accurate, quality product to market. Patience and persistence are what bring a product through development and into the production phase.
Moving on to the production phase is an exciting time. Realization of the product going to market is very close, which is why production tooling is so important. Typical production tools range from single cavity temperature controlled aluminum castings to multiple cavity cut aluminum tools. Plug assists and forming boxes all play key roles in how well a part looks once it is formed. The process continues on to the trimming stage where products are cut and begin to realize their true potential. High tolerance trims and aesthetically pleasing parts are all customer expectations that we try to exceed.
